But he suffered from behavioral issues stemming from long-undiagnosed fetal alcohol syndrome disorder (FASD) tied to his mother’s drug and alcohol use during her pregnancy.Įarly in his teen years, Floyd began drinking, and by age 16 was regularly abusing drugs, including marijuana and methamphetamines. Family members, friends and coworkers described him as well-mannered and even funny during his adolescence.
